Audible signs four-book deal with Leeanne Slade

When I first started writing, and subsequently attempting to become a traditionally published author, I uncovered a litany of reasons why it probably wouldn’t pan out for me. The odds of landing a literary agent were minuscule, and then actually getting a publisher to invest in you, smaller still. I was a complete novice, with no writing connections, and absolutely no idea what I was doing. . .

Which is why I don’t take getting to announce things like this for granted. . .

I have not one. . . but TWO books coming this year. And a book after that, and after that, and another after that.

That’s right, in total, there are now FIVE more Leeanne Slade books coming your way with Audible!!!

This book was an escape for me: I was battling some health issues late last year (I’m much better now!) and was in and out of hospital frequently, but when I look back at those months it feels like I spent them trekking across beautiful New Zealand, in a rusty old campervan, staring at the stars.

The next next book is coming in October and fans of The Rebound will (hopefully!!!!) be excited to know that this is a sequel! It’s called THIS CHRISTMAS, and it takes place over one wild Christmas Day, six months after Kitty and Leo reunited in Cannes. I basically pitched this as CATS, CHAOS, AND CHRISTMAS and let me tell you, this book was so much fun to write. It’s my homage to all the silly Christmas specials I watched growing up, fully intending to make you laugh, swoon, and give you that glowy festive feeling. Oh, and Leo has a POV too. . . WHO DO YOU WANT TO NARRATE HIM? ASK AND YOU MIGHT JUST RECEIVE!

I think that’s all from me. . . I know I will get a lot of questions about paperbacks and eBooks off the back of this update and believe me, I understand that it’s been a long wait for these formats.
